This is the journal of Brooklyn based fashionista Camilla Vivian Mayer. Digital Director at Giles and Brother. Lover of all things fashion, coffee, and vintage.

Recently I had some high school friend in town. The plan was to bike from Bushwick to Williamsburg, but filled with adventure and excitement we made a goal to bike to Central Park. I’ve never done that before, and it sounded daunting. But what an adventure we had biking all the boroughs except the Bronx! Over 14 miles.

I stayed in utter comfort in a lululemonathletica sports bra, gap sweatshirt, Levi’s denim shorts, nikesb 4.0 frees, Retro Super Sunglasses via Glass Optical, and a Giles and Brother lariat necklace

In anticipation for fall, I can’t wait for fall shopping. I’ve teamed up with shopworship in Bushwick to display some of my favorite vintage pieces in the days leading up to New York Fashion Week.

Stay tuned!

"It is no surprise, as Pew reported, that the millennial generation is skeptical of institutions — political and religious — and prefers to improvise solutions to the challenges of the moment. It is one thing to own a smartphone, as so many of us do. It is quite another to have mastered its uses at age 10."
